Behind the two glazed doors at the top of the unit are three shelves which are perfectly suited for displaying crockery, ornaments, and other items of intrigue. The two smaller oak doors at the bottom of the cabinet are ideal for storing other dining room essentials out of sight, such as napkins, tablecloths, and placemats. Both sets of doors are beaded which adds character and depth to the cabinet.

The HSG40 is constructed from solid oak by master-craftsmen and is hand finished with a matte, smoke oil which softens the grain of the wood while still allowing the natural warmth of the oak to peek through.

The finishing touches to the display cabinet are the bun feet which give a relaxed, yet elegant, feel to the furniture, and the pewter-effect knobs with engraved concentric circles which add a modern twist to the cabinet.
